Results and dates about European Championships CUP" Cluj Napoca - Romania Dear friends, First of all, THANK YOU for your participation at the 1st edition of European Champions Cup. It was a great pleasure to have you in Cluj-Napoca, it was a great pleasure to see your fantastic athletes, coaches and referees. I am very glad that the competition had a higher level that I expected and the number of participants really suffocated us in the Sport Hall especially at the opening ceremony. But with your help we managed very well all and we finished in a good athmosphere such a hard competition. After 2 hard days we can say that it was not easy, the categories were full, we had TEAM CATEGORIES with 24 teams, individual categories with more than 40 competitors, so a medal to this competition has a greater value this way. What I liked a lot was the friendship of the participants, no matter they were athletes, competitors, referees or coaches. I think we had a good level of refereeing this is why we had a high level of competition. Please find attached the results and the statistics of the competition. Of course you shall see that the registrations were made by federations in mostly all cases of the foreign teams and by clubs for Romanian clubs. We respected the wish of the federations even this way we mixed federations and clubs. There is a classification by countries also, but this is not too relevant as well as Romania registered half of the total number of competitors.
